About Waterfront

Senior partner Henry Neuman began his music career in 1975 working with Variety Artists. With fellow agents Rod Essig (currently with CAA Nashville) and Bob Engel (currently President of Variety Artists), Neuman worked with George Carlin, Badfinger, Alabama, The Grass Roots, Jim Croce and Hall & Oates. Neuman left Variety to join Champion Entertainment and Tommy Mottola, where he became  part of the management  team for Hall & Oates.  Neuman left Champion in 1982 to assume the management Air Supply.

Neuman then worked with management for a number of artist, including The Thompson Twins and Pink Floyd. In 1988, Neuman joined the team at Stiefel-Phillips Entertainment, where he was responsible for Prince and tour manager for Rod Stewart.

In 1990,  Neuman formed Waterfront Artist Management.  One year later he signed  Hootie & The Blowfish to management.

Senior partner Chip Latham joined Neuman in 1990 with the signing of Hootie & The Blowfish. After helping launch their career, they worked with such music talents as Flicker/Sony BMG artist ELEVENTYSEVEN and Word/Warner Brothers artist Exit East. Their current artist include The Advice and Daisy Mallory.

In the 90's, clients also included actors Robin Mattson (Janet Green Dillon: "All My Children" & Heather: "General Hospital") and Mark Consuelos (Mateo Santos of ABC TV's "All My Children" and "Hope & Faith"). Mark is also real life husband of mega star Kelly Ripa.
